Shilpa Shetty, Madhuri Dixit And Karisma Kapoor Are All About Yellow Outfits This Festive Season

With the festivities in full bloom over the last week, some of our favourite Bollywood celebrities have managed to pull off some stunning ethnic looks. Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that is being celebrated with great splendour amongst Bollywood stars – and this list can’t be complete without Shilpa Shetty, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor. While Shilpa Shetty has definitely been in the forefront of Ganpati celebrations, making sure to keep the festive mood alive around her everyday, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor have too been a part of the festivities. All three of them looked beautiful, no doubt, but we think some credit must be given to a specific colour that has managed to make them all look absolutely resplendent. It’s the colour of the season – yellow. Yellow has managed to become an integral part of celebrity wardrobesover the last year, and we really can’t blame them or their stylists. It’s a colour that can immediately brighten even the dullest of sartorial days.

A few days ago for Ganpati darshan at a friend’s place, Shilpa chose to wear a yellow kurta and sharara set. Her outfit featured gota and mirror work detailing. Shilpa looked stunning as she posed with her family in her light yellow ensemble.

During Ganpati puja on the sets of reality show, Dance Deewane, Madhuri Dixit chose to wear a bright yellow Varanasi silk brocade sari from Raw Mango. With a bottle green blouse and gold jewellery from Anmol jewellers, Madhuri looked beautiful.
To celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at the Ambani residence last week, Karisma chose to wear a bright and coruscating yellow ensemble from designer Manish Malhotra. Her yellow outfit featured a kurta with white thread work all over and a pair of cigarette pants and dupatta with similar embroidery just around the borders. She opted for a pair of dangling earrings from TBZ and a pair of juttis to complete her outfit.

Ready to buy some yellow Indian wear after looking at these gorgeous women? We know we are.
